The deadline for requesting a change in your child’s mode of learning is this Friday, September 25, 2020!

Students will now transition into their new learning environment, in-person or distance learning, by mid-October.

The new deadline for notification of change in learning mode is this Friday, September 25 at 4:00 PM.

The Board has advised that there will be no extension to this date.

This date REPLACES the October 16th deadline originally communicated.

HOW TO REQUEST A CHANGE TO STUDENT MODE OF LEARNING:

If families would like to make a change to their child(ren)’s mode of learning, we would ask that an email be sent to the school’s inbox at mjp@wrdsb.ca and request the change in writing. We will also need you to fill out the following Out of Boundary Request form in order to process this change.

We need to remain as efficient as possible while working through this process so we ask that you do not call the school. Emailing your request ensures accuracy and leaves you with email confirmation of the request.

In the email, please include your child’s full name, grade and which mode of learning you are requesting a move to (Online Distance, In-person, or Materials Distance Learning)

Please note: The next time that families will be able to switch modes of learning will not be until February 3rd.
