Dressing for the Weather – We certainly enjoyed the mild temperatures over the weekend! We actually would love it if there were more snow to play with! Students have been reminded to wear their boots and snow pants everyday. It’s really important to be dressed properly for outdoor play; even for our big kids! Teachers will be reminding students – no boots, no field and no snow pants, no sliding. Packing an extra pair of socks is always a great idea.

Poinsettia Sales  Thank you to the families who were able to purchase ponsettia’s from our We Team. The group sold these festive flowers to earn money so that they can purchase toys for Toy Mountain! We will be sure to let you know more when gifts are dropped off.

Save the DATE: Monday, December 17, 5:30-8pm

On Monday December 17th from 5:30 to 8pm; MJ School Council is hosting the annual “MJ Drop Off.” This evening is a chance for the kids to hang out while their parents have some much-needed alone time to relax or run a multitude of errands! The cost is $10 per child and you need to sign up no later than Wednesday December 12th. If your child is not signed up, they will not be allowed entrance. Please watch for the form coming home in your child’s planner for more information and to sign up.

**We do need volunteers to help with the event so if you are able to help out or your older child is looking for volunteer hours please email sunniehallman@hotmail.ca

Walking School Bus – We welcome our school resource Officer Dave Chen to the Clair  Creek route on Tuesday Morning! He’s so excited to walk to school with the group. We are always looking for more volunteers for the walking school bus. Click here to sign up
