Thank you to the many families who sent their children to school our first ever Walking School Bus! The committee was able to get two routes going for yesterday’s International iWalk Day; hats off to the hard work that got this initiative off the ground. There was a large bunch of children who happily arrived from the Clair Creek/Branstone route and another bunch from the Winchester route. Thanks again to the volunteers who have stepped up to help out.

For those of you who haven’t heard about this initiative, we simply want your children to walk to school! The Walking School Bus has two adults who lead the group down a specific route, they are trained, wear a vest and have a police check! Right now we have 3 routes:

• Clair Creek/Branstone/Amberwood
• Leighland/Keats Way
• Winchester/Keats Way
