The Nursing Students from McMaster University are currently in a community placement at Mary Johnston P.S. A few weeks ago, parents were asked to complete a needs assessment on a variety of topics that would be of interest to parents. After completing a needs assessment of the community, we have determined that the importance of proper nutrition is an area of interest parents indicated about which they would like more information . We are planning to host an event on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. with a guest lecturer on how nutrition impacts learning. Please see the attached flyer for further details.
