As you may have heard, the basket draw is a highlight of this event. Each class is putting together a basket. If you haven’t sent in your class donation, please do so asap.

Parking Lot Issues – Safety is always our #1 concern! This past week, many adults have neglected to put our kids first. Please, please, do not enter the parking lot to pick up or drop off. Work out a meeting place on a side street, not in the parking lot.

Character Education – You are invited to join us for Thursday’s Character Ed Assembly, (June 13). The assembly for students in JK-2 is at 10:15am. The assembly for students in grades 3-6 is at 12:00pm- 1:30pm. Sara Westbrook will be inspiring us with her UPower message: to build confident, resilient young people! We are looking forward to a great assembly.

Track and Field – Thanks so much to the many fans who were able to join us today at our Track Meet! Our students had a fantastic day. We were thrilled that the weather completely cooperated! On June 20th, the entire Junior division (all gr. 4-6 students), will head over to University Stadium to compete against other schools, (10:00am-1:00pm). Parents/Families are invited to cheer us on. Wear your MJ spirit wear or red/white/blue to show school spirit.

Grade Six Graduation Celebration – Wednesday June 26 at 2pm.

June 27th is the Last Day of School!!

August 26 – our office re-opens for the 2019-2020 School Year. The first day of School is Tuesday, September 3rd.

All Kindergarten students, JK and SK will attend school on Sept. 3. We no longer have a staggered entry process.
