Diabetes Family Fun Day
This year’s Diabetes Family Fun Day will be held on Saturday, June 25th from 10 am – 2:30pm.
This event is for children 5-13 years old living with type 1 or 2 diabetes and their immediate family members. The day’s events include games, crafts, goodie bags, lunch, and a chance for parents to get together and share experiences and get support from diabetes educators. This year, the event will be held at Courtland Avenue Public School and will feature a number of firefighter-themed activities including a guest speaker sharing his experiences as a fireman with type 1 diabetes, a fire truck demo and photoshoot, and MUCH MORE.
